Is this stuff normal after a panic attack?

I had a severe anxiety/panic attack today. The panic attack lasted about eight hours but was only extremely bad for about 1 hour. Ever since then, I haven’t felt like myself and I still feel nauseous when I even think about eating food. I am also having a very hard time falling asleep. Is it normal for panic attack symptoms to last this long? What is the reason for these problems?

That hour when the panic attack was extremely bad was the panic attack. The other 7 hours were hours with severe anxiety. A panic attack doesn’t last more than an hour…
It’s normal to feel nauseous and to have problems with falling asleep because the severe anxiety affected you and made you tired and frustrated. But these symptoms will pass, try to sleep or to do something that distracts your attention.
The reason is usually fear: fear of something of fear of fear (I mean the fear that you can have another panic attack).

Hope this helps.
